Adam Gabriel Garcia (born June 1, 1973 New South Wales) is an Australian singer actress and dancer from Wahroonga Australia
He is best known for starring in the films "Coyote Ugly" and "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen" (with Lindsay Lohan) and his leading roles in musicals "Saturday Night Fever" and "Wicked!" in London's West End in 2010 Adam is starring in the West End production of "Tap Dogs"
Garcia (whose father is from Colombia) left the university to take the role of Slide in the production of the musical 'Hot Shoe Shuffle "which toured Australia in two years before moving to London he lived in England and went on to star in West End productions of "Grease" and as Tony Manero iscenversionen of "Saturday Night Fever" which ran 1998-1999 Garcia reached # 15 on the UK singles chart in 1998 with his cover of the Bee Gees song "Night Fever" is taken from Saturday Night Fever
Garcia worked with Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth help to create the role of Fiyero in the 2002 workshop of the production musical "Wicked, even if he does not star in the Broadway production Garcia was playing the role of Fiyero again opposite Menzel (and later Kerry Ellis) in the London production which opened in 2006 after nearly a year Adam left the show in 2007
His TV credits include a small role in the 2005 Christmas special of BBC's "Doctor Who" ITV drama school drama "Britannia High" in 2008 and the romantic drama "Mr. Eleven" in 2009 In 2010, Garcia appeared alongside Kimberly Wyatt as a judge on the British reality show "Got to Dancee '
