The band was born in Klaipėda in 1996. The main idea was to combine traditional pop-rock with folk and exotic instruments. Also to find some new poetic expressions.
Atika is Darius (guitar, vox) and Audrius (drums). The band has 4 demo CD’s: “Karvė ir Kosmonautai”, “Caro Nebuvo”, “Po visko” and an acoustic live album “Žolių vaikai”. Eventually the band has released “Šalin Rankas Nuo Rokenrolo, Mama” - the only official album.|Atika says, drivel and adds: “Stop yelling and listen to us”…
Atika split-up in 2007, but reformed in 2008 with this current line up:|Darius Žvirblis - Vocal, guitar;|Artur Mamin - bass guitar;|Geistautas Špogis - guitar;|Audrius Šalnis - drums,|Remis Motiejauskas - el. guitar,
And released another demo tape called „Narcizų Dainos“. |
