Trousdale was born in New Port Richey Florida to a Greek American father and an Irish American mother [1] He has appeared in various Broadway including the sound Music and Les Miserables He was also a member of the Broadway Kids (whose alumni include Christy Carlson Romano Lacey Chabert and Greg Raposo), with whom he recorded several CDs

In 1999 he was chosen to be one of the five members of the teen boy band Dream Street (formerly known as "Boy Wonder"-minus Matt, Frank and Jesse-) created by Brian Lukow and Louie Baldonieri together Gregory Raposo Matt Ballinger Frank Galasso, and Jesse McCartney, the group's debut album was released on Edel Records in July 2001, # 1 on Billboard'sTop Independent Albums Chart its first week of release and has gone on to sell one million copies nationwide
