Desto is tagged as: Desto is a Helsinki-based electronic music artist and DJ. His music mainly draws from dubstep, hiphop, 2-step garage, jungle, computer games and 90’s Warp label stuff. Since 2008 he has released 12” singles and EPs on labels such as Ramp Recordings, Noppa and Argon Records and gained support from DJs such as Blackdown (Rinse FM, Pitchfork, UK) and Oneman (Rinse FM, 502 Records, UK). Desto runs two dubstep nights, “Slam It!” and “Theory” in Helsinki with colleagues Dead-O and Tes La Rok and has a bi-weekly radio show on Finnish FM station Basso Radio with Tes La Rok. In the last few years Desto has played DJ sets in Bristol, New York, Shanghai and Barcelona and on radio stations such as Rinse FM and Sub FM.
