Previously she was in a band called Iconofear. Heidi started taking piano lessons at the age of 11 and taking classical singing lessons at the age of 14. In 1997, in her high school days, a couple of guys from a high school band asked her to sing on their EP. The band was called Agonia, they played death metal. She joined the band as a keyboard player and a backing vocalist. Soon the band’s music evolved and the name was renamed to Iconofear. After years of classical singing studies she grew up to the idea of being a vocalist and during the years with Iconofear she has grown into heavy metal music. In the summer 2006 she started to look for a band, a metal band, because it seemed to be the closest to her interests.
