His musical career was jumpstarted when a friend submitted his acoustic cover of Van Morrison’s “Crazy Love” to a local radio contest in California. It was the winning entry. Manns made the move to Los Angeles, California with his brother Matt who, along with business partner Matt Borden, oversaw the recording of his debut, self-titled album.
