Laakso is a Swedish pop with Finnish influences, vocal harmony and harmonious guitar-work band consisting of Mark Krunegård Lars Skoglund David Nygard and Michael Fritz
During the autumn of 1999 at a luncheon dining room of the university outside of Uppsala, Mark was humming to a Belle & Sebastian song so that David could hear him, it was enough to convince that the gap between indie-geek who does not care enough and a vegan who just wanted to show really be alleviated later moved in together and formed Laakso Laakso name and the fact that the band only sang in Finnish when they first formed depends both parents David and Markus mother who all come from the Torne Valley (Tornionjokilaakso Laakso meaning valley)
