In the United States the song reached #43 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in the winter of 1979. The group’s members were keyboard player Julian Marshall, and vocalist and bass player Kit Hain. They followed this up with the ballad “Coming Home”, which reached number 39 in the UK Singles Chart later that year. Both hits were on the Harvest record label. “Coming Home” was backed by strings and fretless bass, and they released an unsuccessful album called Free Ride. They split up in 1980. Subsequently in 1984 Hain went to live in the U.S. to concentrate her own songwriter career. Marshall was also a member of Flying Lizards, who had a UK Top 10 hit with their cover of “Money (That’s What I Want)” in 1979. The song reached #50 in the US.
