He started his career as an amateur disc jockey in 1984. Back in January 2005, OSCAR VELAZQUEZ was invited to become a staff member in a Mexico citys radio station named BEAT 100.9 FM (beat1009.com.mx ). This radio station was the first one in the country to program electronic music exclusively. Here, as the promos recall, Oscar catapults radio listeners to the dance floor without leaving home. His weekly 2 hour broadcast, club diez cero nueve (club10/09), is dedicated to show his ability both as a DJ and as a producer.
In 2008 He won the Dj Concept Award for BEST MEXICAN DJ,and for the past 3 years He appears constantly on the Top Ten Djs list.
With HUGE TOUR Calendar already booked (most of the gigs booked 10 months early), Oscar is one of the most influential Djs on the Mexican House music Market.
