Spencer Bell (April 22, 1986 - December 3, 2006) was an American singer-songwriter and original lead singer and lyricist of The Stevedores.
During his lifetime, Bell was known primarily as the front man of The Stevedores. However, after his unexpected death at the age of 20, his personal archive of unreleased recorded material has been compiled into several independent releases, the first of which, Feudal, Brutal and the American Dream, was issued in 2008.
Since then the Spencer Bell Legacy Project has released two additional solo works by Spencer: “Live & Wasted” (2009) and “Brain” (2010).
These releases can be purchased at http://www.spencerbellmemorial.com/, or downloaded for free from http://www.myspace.com/spencerebell. All of Spencer’s music is also now available on www.cdbaby.com.
And if you are from Europe, there is a European project as well: www.spencerbellmemorial.eu It’s in German, French, English, Turkish and Dutch....
