The 6 Day Riot sound is both eclectic and at the same time entirely integrated - harnessing ukeleles, guitars, trumpet, violin and accordions with Eastern European folk beats, soca rhythms, distorted guitars and infectious pop melodies to create a style of music utterly their own. 6 Day Riot performed at North by Northeast 2008, debuting a new EP Bring On The Waves, featuring songs written for the festival, including the single Go! Canada. Their new EP and single were released on Tantrum Records, their own label. This year they are playing at Glastonbury and Green Man Festivals as well as touring the UK.
