In December of 2007, the boys were contacted by a vocalist from California named Jason who was needing a band to play for just as badly as ABAS was needing a singer. He flew out to Texas in January and within a month had relocated to the Lone Star State and became the official lead singer of A Bird A Sparrow. ABAS made their radio debut in Seattle on 107.7 The End, and were very recently interviewed by that same radio station.
