テゴマス is tagged as: johnnys entertainment, j-pop, japanese, tegomass, jpop テゴマス (Tegomasu) is a two-person unit made of 手越祐也 (Tegoshi Yuuya) and 増田貴久 (Masuda Takahisa) from the Johnny’s Entertainment group NEWS. They were formed in 2006 for the promotion of the Japanese talent company Johnny & Co in the Western world. They have released one single in Sweden on November 15th, 2006. The entirely English single, titled Miso Soup, had its music video played all over Sweden and reached #12 on the Swedish music charts. The single was released a little over a month later in Japan, only in Japanese, and debuted at #1 on the Oricon charts. テゴマス was assumed by most fans as a temporary unit until it was announced that they would be the official 2007 Spring High School Volleyball Championships cheer unit (this is the largest high school volleyball event in Japan and is a widely watched program). They perform at games and help promote the event. テゴマス is also singing the opening and ending themes for the anime Lovely Complex.
