After the group broke up, he appeared in the second series of Pop Idol, making it to the final seven. His debut album was shelved for unknown reasons. In 2005, he took part in the qualifying rounds to represent the United Kingdom in the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest, where he was up against, Javine, Katie Price, Tricolore and Gina G. Andy came third. Scott-Lee’s wife is the Liberty X member, Michelle Heaton. They announced their split in June 2008. He is the brother of the former Steps singer Lisa Scott-Lee.
