Rich (aka Barrett Richards) of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is one of America’s welcome purveyors of fidgety, bass-heavy house music. With nearly a decade of DJ and producing experience within a rave scene that has come and gone, he has positioned himself nicely into house music and dropped like a bomb. Influenced at a young age by early hip hop and old school rave artists such as Moby, this artist has crafted a unique sound that is becoming internationally recognized. His sound always focuses on a heavy bassline and which fuses breaks, classic house and rave elements. When asked to describe the name, he laughs and says “I’m not at all going for that glam thing.
