They each bring their own individual strengths to the group. When asked what their music is about they explained that artistically they each have different styles, they each choose to rap about what is important to them. In other words they each make music that expresses their individual realities and all together it becomes “Mob Music”. Black Mob has performed in several venues across the island of Montreal, they shared the stage with lengendary Grammy winner Michael Rose of the fame Reggae band Black Uhuru at the 2007 Montreal International Reggae Festival, they were also able to release a single with the aforementioned Michael Rose called: “Number One (Favorite Girl)”. Black Mob has also opened up for Collie Budz and Jim Jones, and also performed on a float for Montreal’s annual Caribana Festival.
