Whilst studying art, her friend, Bernard Jamet, persuaded her to audition for ‘La maison de la Radio’ to work on a musical program directed by José Artur, Claude Dupont and Michel Godart. As a result Christine became a cartoonist for the show ‘Les Ardugos’. At the same time, her passion for drawing resulted in her contributing many illustrations for ‘Mlle âge tendre, moins 20’ and other magazines. Her younger sister, Violaine released her first record, ‘Cessez la guerre’ (‘Stop the war’) in 1966. Christine also had musical ambitions. Aged 24, she started writing some songs with her friends Bernard Jamet and Pascal Danet. With the help of José Artur, who gave them free studio time they recorded a demo.
