Crash Street Kids are a glam-rock band from Phoenix, AZ whose influences include Alice Cooper, David Bowie, T. Rex, Mott the Hoople, Slade, Sweet, Kiss, Silverhead, The Sensational Alex Harvey Band. Drummer A.D. Adams and Singer/Guitarist Ryan McKay began as sidemen for Alice Cooper’s guitarist and tunesmith Michael Bruce in 2003. The group known as “Michael Bruce and the Redeemers” was unfortunately put on hold when Bruce’s notorious personal problems crept into the sessions. Undeterred, Adams and McKay resumed their working relationship months later, writing and recording new music under the name Crash Street Kids. Adding guitarist Ricky Serrano and bassist Ryan “Deuce” Gregory, Crash Street Kids released their debut, “Let’s Rock and Roll Tonite” in 2005. The album (sub titled “the Supersonic Star Show part one”) was loosely based around the concept of “The Kid”, a fictional glam rock superstar set in 1975.
