He has always been passionate about different styles of music; started out by listening to heavy metal bands like Ratt, Dokken, Greatwhite and other LA glam bands. Then came the new wave years - especially The Cure, Duran Duran and others. Around 2000, he discovered Astral Projection and the rest is history. His love & passion for electronic music began with goa trance and even Prodigy tracks :) Eventually d-phrag discovered the Northern Exposure series and Global Undergound compilations. In his words, “this really pushed my musical boundaries”, he became entranced with DJ’s like Sasha, Digweed, Oakenfold, Kleinenberg… In 2003 d-phrag decided to see what was so special about DJ-ing and tried some DJ software.
