Dandi Wind is tagged as: electropunk, electronic, experimental, avant-garde, canadian Dandi Wind was started in 2003 in Vancouver, Canada by Dandilion Wind Opaine (vocals) and Szam Findlay (music) following Dandi’s 3 year collaboration with Szam as a sculptor and animator accompanying his instrumental music. As of 2006 and now based in Montreal - Evan Pierce (drums) has joined them, making the band a trio. They have released 4 eps/singles and a full length album (14 songs / 10 videos) titled “Concrete Igloo” – which highlights Dandi’s animations in addition to the music. They self-released the LP on their own Todtenschlaf Records in November 2005 (reissue on SLUM and in Europe on Alt:Del). Due in 2007 is a 2nd full length album on Alt:Delete/Because/SLUM titled Yolk Of The Golden Egg.
