Condos was born in Chicago, IL and grew up in Omaha, NE. He began writing songs on guitar during college when the band he was playing drums in broke up. Soon thereafter, Condos recorded his debut LP, Smoking City, in Nashville, TN with producer Tom Laune (R.E.M., Bruce Springsteen, Alex Chilton) and band members Ian Leach (guitar), David Grant (drums), Koral Michaels (vocals), and Hannah Schroeder (cello). They self-released the album in 2006 and it is now available on iTunes, CD Baby, and Amazon. Since the release of Smoking City, Condos and band have embarked upon a number of US tours, with stops in NY, CA, FL, VA, OH, NC, NE, MI, OK, TX, TN, SC, GA, KY, and AL. Songs from Smoking City have been featured on television programs such as The Hills (MTV), One Tree Hill (The CW), Kyle XY (ABC Family), The Simple Life (E!), and Newport Harbor (MTV).
