Demon Hunter is tagged as: metalcore, metal, christian metal, christian, hardcore Demon Hunter is a Seattle based christian metal band which first received wide notice in 2002 with the release of their self-titled album on Solid State Records. At first the members of the band chose to hide their identities, creating some controversy over the band. However, their names were later revealed when they undertook their first tour. This was all part of a gimmick that the band had created to parody mainstream metal. The Demon Hunter logo is a goat head with a bullet hole in the middle. This is a play-off the popular “anti-Christian” bands, as the goat head is often associated with Satan and demons, mainly Baphomet (a demon with a goat head). Their second album, Summer of Darkness, was released on the 4th of May, 2004. In July 2005, they recorded their third album, The Triptych, which was released October 25, 2005. On this album Ethan Luck (The O.C. Supertones, The Dingees) joined as lead guitarist. Singer Ryan Clark and guitar player Don Clark are brothers and work together at their graphic design firm, Invisible Creature.
