She has been dubbed in interviews and publications as “one of the biggest pop stars in Greece”. Δέσποινα owes her success almost completely to the songwriter Φοίβος (also known as Phoebus). She has released 7 studio albums so far and 6 cd-singles. She started her career in 1994 by releasing the successful “Γέλα μου” (Gela Mou).
