Dreamgirls: Music from the Motion Picture is the soundtrack album for the 2006 DreamWorks/Paramount film Dreamgirls, adapted from the Broadway play of the same name. The album was released by Music World Entertainment through Sony Music Entertainment’s Columbia Records on December 5, 2006 in two versions: a single-disc standard release, and a two-disc deluxe edition.
