Dubska is tagged as: Dubska, a band formed in Bydgoszcz, Poland in 1999, is at the moment believed to be one of the best known reggae bands in Poland. They have so far released 5 albums, 3 of which were recorded at their own expense and 2 were officially published by MAMI records. The band’s first official record, titled simply Dubska, was released in 2005. Both the critic’s and the public’s reaction to this album was quite positive. The band’s most significant virtues are: characteristic style, two equal vocalists, splendid rhythm section as well as impressive wind section. Thanks to them the band is welcomed during concerts with open arms and is classified among the best reggae formations in Poland. “Free Colours”, a reggae quarterly, placed in its second number the results of a plebiscite which sums up the year of 2005 concerning reggae stage in Poland and abroad.
