Francesca “Frankie” Sandford (born January 14, 1989) was the second oldest member S Club 8 and was one of the group’s more prominent singers. Since the group disbanded, she has stepped out of the public eye but is reportedly working on a solo career. It has been rumoured that she is due to record with her friend Dan Darke’s band, Last Night’s Recital, in Late 2007. Sandford has launched a music myspace account www.myspace.com/frankiesandfordofficialmusic which is showcasing 2 tracks entitled “Bored” and “Swallow”. In late 2007, along with fellow ex S Club 8 band mate Rochelle Wiseman formed a band along with Vanessa White, Mollie King and Una Healy. The band was entitled The Saturdays and have mild chart Success with If This Is Love, Up, and Issues.
