They were DJs and producers who create and mix progressive house and progressive trance music. They were also the production unit behind Motorcycle and Andain. As of March 30th 2008 the group decided to take a break due to both personal and musical reasons, both focusing on their solo careers from here on. The two are best known for their remixes. Recently they remixed Gustavo Santalaoralla’s “Wings”, the theme song of the movie Brokeback Mountain. They have also remixed songs by Dido, Sarah McLachlan, and Above & Beyond. Gabriel & Dresden released their first original album (Self Titled) in August 2006. The album features vocals by Jan Burton, Molly Bancroft, and DJ Scarlett Etienne.
