Here Aisher updates his debut Gutterstylz release from last year ‘Dirtbox/I Want Your Love’, both of which were heavily played by DJs such as Pete Tong and Sasha and still hold up on dancefloors today. Aisher’s 2 Thousand and Six remix of ‘Dirtbox’ is clearly the better of the two, adding a deep-end progressive beat to the original synths. Chunky yet fluent drums and heavy builds and breakdowns dominate in a cut that should cross over to more mainstream audiences, but is far from commercial. Played by Hernan Cattaneo, this mix is a bass-driven, booty-shaking affair that’s an ideal crowdpleaser.
