Jal (meaning “water” in Farsi and “to burn” in Urdu) is an experimental folk rock band from Lahore, Pakistan. It consists of Gohar Mumtaz, Farhan Saeed, and Aamir Sheraz. It once featured Atif Aslam, who left the band to follow his own musical ambitions as a solo artist.
