Mike (he calls himself that due to lack of a “dj name”) was an indie rock fan who stumbled upon DJ Danger Mouse’s Grey Album and ,with a love for pirating music and internet stardom, jumped into action remixing. He had to first think of another album to mix with Jay-Z’s The Black Album. He tried many different ideas, but none worked too well until he came up with Weezer’s The Blue album. “With lyrics such as ‘What’s with these homies dissin’ my girl?’, it practically remixed itself. Choruses usually contain both Weezer and Jay-Z lyrics. The album also has “bonus tracks” which, somewhat randomly, include Usher, Ludacris, Beyonce, and Lil’ Jon.
