They were selected to enter Melodifestivalen that year with the song “What Difference Does It Make”, however, they did not reach the finals. The following year, Jansson was a contestant on Swedish reality show Fame Factory. Like many other popular Swedish artists, he did not win but went on to have a number of successful singles. The first was “Godmorgon världen”, which was released in 2004 and reached #2 on the Swedish charts. Jansson then released his first album titled “Flickan från det blå”.
