In 2008 she gained popularity over the internet by uploading cover versions of famous j-pop songs on YouTube. She cites singers 安室奈美恵, 浜崎あゆみ, Boa, 宇多田ヒカル and 伊藤由奈 as musical influences. It was her true talent and heartfelt performances that brought hundreds of subscribers at her YouTube channel and soon afterwards her fame started spreading on blogs and j-pop forums. Unfortunately, she was obliged to close her account because of YouTube’s copyright policy but she has returned under a new nickname which is not going to be revealed for apparent reasons. An unofficial compilation of her covers was released on the internet on March 3rd 2009 under the title ~DEBUT~, along with the double a-sided single Come/glitter for promotional purposes.
