(1.) Karthago is a Hungarian rock band formed in 1979. They broke up in 1985, but in 2004 they came together again. It was one of the most successful Hungarian rock bands in the 1980s.
They played american west coast rock music. During their 5 years activity they gave 2,500 gigs in countries surrounding Hungary, for example in Austria, Germany and the Soviet Union.
