LK (as they are known in Brazil) was formed in 1999 and since 2003 they have been experiencing a tremendous success, becoming a top act in the country. The band is formed today by Marcio Faveri (vocal), Marcelo Villa (guitar), Rodrigo Caggegi (bass) and Paulo Vinicius (drums). Much more than a punk rock band, LK is a union of friends, that had one day the idea of forming a band just to play covers of worldwide famous punk bands, such as Buzzcocks, Cock Sparrer, Rezillos, Sex Pistols, The Clash, Ramones, Toy Dolls, among others. That was the start in 1999, when the band was only a trio, with Marcio also playing the bass. On early 2000 Luiz Nordhausen joined the band as bass player and Marcio dedicated himself to his vocal duties only. Since then they started to write their own songs, adopting a very original and peculiar style.
