Les Dales Hawerchuk is tagged as: quebec, francophone, rock, quebecois, lac saint-jean Les Dales Hawerchuk is a band from Québec, Canada. The name has been chosen because one of the members had a hockey card that he thought was beautiful, of the great Dale Hawechuk, a former sniper in the National Hockey League (NHL) throughout the early 80s and late 90s. This band is from Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, a very nice but far region of Québec. The song “Dale Hawerchuk” (from their first album, Les Dales Hawerchuk) has been very popular on commercial radios. They are now at their third album (Le Tour du Chapeau, 2011). They have been doing a lot of concerts, including a performance at the Woodstock En Beauce 2006. They are also known to perform in the smallest towns in Quebec (and rarely in the largest), enjoying the contact with the crowd in bars and very small theatres. Members: Sébastien Séguin (Guitar and vocals), Sylvain Séguin (Guitar and backing vocals), Martin Bergeron (Bass and backing vocals) and Pierre Fortin (drums).
