The band got its start when childhood friends Nik Bruzzese and Wayne Wildrick began writing songs together at Niks Small Hill Studio. Wayne soon turned to his fellow member of The Front Page, Zac Eiestenstein to fill the Bass and Vocals duties. They then asked Justin Mondschein from Bangarang to play drums. Eventually Justin Collier, who also played in the Front Page with Zac, took over drums full time. The core line up was then completed. The common goal of the band was to revive the emotion that has been lost in the current slew of popular bands in the pop punk genre. Taking cue from the bands they grew up with such as Blink 182, Taking Back Sunday, and Saves The Day, they have tried to bring back the notion of an emotional song rather then one programmed in a computer. Despite the bands aversion to new trends they still manage to incorporate hooky choruses that will have the current crop shaking in their shoes.
