She stayed in the group until they dissolved in 2003. Mariana was born in Mexico City, Mexico. She began her formal training at the tender age of three, taking ballet and tap. By 9 years of age, Mariana began her professional career, starring in a Mexican rendition of “Grease” (Onda Vaselina). The success immediately led into the recording of several albums and the once children’s group evolved into one of Mexico’s largest pop groups ever; later to be called OV7. This group sold more than 5 million copies worldwide during a 14 year time span. Once the group decided to call it quits Mariana immediately pursued her dream of acting and began taking classes.
