Melodic Scribes are an independent hip hop group started in Champaign, Illinois in 2001. Founding members include emcees Pinan and ryebread, as well as beatmaker DJ Mar Mar. The group has since relocated to Chicago and the San Francsico Bay Area, and now includes additional emcee Antimatter Bonecrusher.
