Meme Love is tagged as: british girls, kgrl, british, indie, interesting In 2005 as one half of electro-pop duo Howdi, Meme caught the attentions of Rob Da Bank (Radio One/Sunday Best) who booked the band to play shows at Glastonbury and Bestival that year. Meme then joined Freeform Five (Perspex Recordings), playing synths whilst also performing as a cellist with Phildel. She has collaborated with many more artists including Riton, and features on his latest album, Eine Kleine Nachtmusik (Modular). For the last year Meme has been confined to her small attic studio/bedroom with nothing but a range of instruments and some basic recording software at her disposal and it is here that she has produced a plethora of enchanting demos which demonstrate her own unique song-writing abilities and rare talent for writing melodies which just won’t leave your head.
