Mirela is most famously known for her powerful and versatile voice which continue to gain a huge hype in Spain and even other European countries, such as Greece. Mirela has participated in various musical contests since she was a child. A big influence for Mirela is her aunt, also a singer, Pastora Soler. In 2004 Mirela participated in Eurojunior, the Spanish pre-selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2004, with Maria Isabel and Blas Cantó, where she sung her song, Conoci El Amor (I Met Love) [1]. She narrowly lost out to Maria Isabel, who represented Spain and overall went on to win the festival with the song Antes Muerta Que Sencilla In 2006, she appeared in the TV-musical show “Gente de Primera” competing for a record deal. She was praised by the judges and audience alike for her impeccable performances of Celine Dion’s Sola Otra Vez [2] and Mariah Carey’s Heroe [3] .
