Melbourne, Australia based quartet who play distortion drenched shoegaze taking cues from My Bloody Valentine, The Stone Roses, Sonic Youth and Deerhunter. A story that is sure to be blown out of proportion before Mission Control’s career is over, is how they got to know renowned French producer Phillipe Zdar (Cassius): the story goes that Zdar added a song by the band to his Myspace page, unbeknown to the band, before contacting them and lavishing his praises on their sound. Zdar is now rumoured to be producing the bands debut album later this year. Their debut single ‘Chariots of Fire’ was i-tunes ‘single of the week’ and their debut E.P, Innerspace, is due out on Sep 13, 2008....
