She has had the nickname Möhre (which means carrot) ever since she was in primary school. First she studied Italian, Spanish and Musical- and Mediascience at the Düsseldorf university. Later she also studied Music at the University of Music and Theatre in Leipzig. In 1994, she joined the “Compagnia 82” theatre group. Two years later, she became a member of Die Fabulösen Thekenschlampen. She also was a member of the improvisation-theatre Frizzles, where she was noticed for her enormous amount of talking. In the summer of 2001, she performed regularly at the discotheque “Oberbayern” on Mallorca. The same year her first single “20 Zentimeter” was released.
