She caught the attention of Linda Casey through a talent search in CT that landed her a deal alongside Letoya Luckett and Latavia Roberson (formerly of Destiny’s Child) in their new female group Anjell. Natasha sought new opportunities after being in the group about a year. The rumors of her not getting along with other band members are false and should be totally disregarded. She started working with Andre “mrDeyo” Deyo who wrote “Jenny From the Block” and had Natasha sing the demo. JLo loved what she heard and had Natasha record background vocals for the “Thie is me…then” album. She also kept most of the vocals on JFTB.
