She is most famous for coming fourth in the fourth series of the popular television talent show The X Factor. Evans has sung with bands since the age of 12 and, at the age of 16 was signed to Libido Records, an off-shoot of Pete Waterman’s PWL label. Of R Timez, a single released with Ball Parc Playerz, did not achieve chart success. Niki was selected for the live show as one of the three “25 and over” contestants mentored by Louis Walsh. Her performance of “Nothing Compares to You” in the first week of the live show brought a standing ovation from the audience and universal acclaim from the four judges.
