He’s the ex husband of the of the very famous Cypriot artist Άννα Βισση and the composer of her most hits, and despite the fact that they are divorced, he still writes songs for her until today. With her he has a daughter named Sofia Karvela, who is an actress. He’s now married to the Greek tv host Annita Pania, and they have a son named Andreas. He has some very big hits from the 1990’s decade, and some of them are considered now as classic, such as the summer anthem “Kalokerines Diakopes” (=Summer vacations) and “Pote Mi Les Pote” (=Never say never). Nikos Karvelas’s first contact with music was at the age of 5 when his parents bought him his first piano.
