Both were fans of punk/post punk/new wave music of the 80s, and found a thriving local scene in Annapolis and Washington, DC. Some of the bands of the time that proved to be an influence include The Hated, Moss Icon, Lungfish, and Tsunami. |1993- Marc and his brother Derek form Plunger, along with their friend Matt Brennan.
