Quinn is tagged as: new age, chillout, pop, tribal, totec radio There are, at least, two artists known as Quinn (none to be confused with Glee’s Quinn and the Cheerios): 1) A USA artist / composer. 2) An alias of Glasgow, Scotland’s A Band Called Quinn. 1) A USA artist (Orison Records), who also composes music for television & film. Since graduating from the New England Conservatory of Music with a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Performance, he’s collaborated with such notable artists as Tracy Chapman, Bruce Springsteen, REM, Ice-T, Michael Brook, Mitchell Froom, Paula Cole, Belinda Carlisle and East Mountain South. In 1994 his critically acclaimed debut CD Quinn was released and charted number two on Virgin Megastore’s ‘Top 30’. It remained there for nine months with four of its songs being featured in the movies Silent Trigger and Father (Winner of Damah Film Festival Award). In 1996 his second CD Ecstasy in Avila, which included the song Sacred Revelation, aired on radio nationwide and most notably on Morning Becomes Eclectic.
