Reka is tagged as: post-metal, screamo, sludge, russian, experimental Reka is a post-metal band formed from members of two screamo bands Fortunae Verbera and Optimus Prime in summer of 2007 in Moscow. First album was recorded in 2008 but finally was mixed and issued only in 2010. It sounds heavy but still screamo with post rock / ambient moments, at the same time was issued second album, on this record Reka sounds much slower and more in post metal way than they started. In summer of 2010 band was touring through East Europe with Celeste and in winter of 2010 started recording brand new album with changed vocalist Sebastien of Llorah and Celeste as well as drummer Anya of Words which played with band past East European tour. 3rd Album was issued in June 2011 and was highly appreciated by lots of people from both in Russia and Europe.
