Rockell, born in New York, was thrown into the deep end of the pool when her first ever demo “I Fell In Love” became an immediate hit upon release. “I am still amazed at the reaction,” says Rockell, as 9 year old “In a Dream” continues to be a people’s favorite. “I saw it on a commercial the other day, and it freaked me out”. “I guess I now have to own up to being that “In My Dreams Girl”, she laughs. “That’s how people recognize me, they say aren’t you that In my dreams girl?” “I thing it’s so funny”.
