From producing original tracks for their imprint Addictive Records, to remixing artists, and DJ-ing at clubs worldwide, Saeed and Palash have catapulted to the forefront of the genre with their own blend of progressive house music: an eclectic mix of groove-rich tribal-tech-infused sounds. Saeed Younan and Palash Ahmed met in 1994, the summer before they entered their first semester at Virginia Commonwealth University; each of them were involved one way or another in Washington’s burgeoning club scene. Both immigrants (Saeed came to America from Iraq when he was 13, Palash from Bangladesh when he was 8), the two shared a common vision of music they wanted to produce.
